The Body Shop's Cucumber Freshening Water

I've never really used a freshening water/toner before I so I never bought one as I didn't see the point in wasting my money, however that changed when I went into The Body Shop a couple of days ago and saw this on offer for £2!!! I realised I wasn't going to get any cheaper and so I decided to buy it, and I'm really glad I did! Every time I use it my face feels so much softer afterwards, it also gets rid of the bits of make-up you didn't realise you still had on your face! Overall I feel for £2 you really can't go wrong and is definitley worth a try, I've heard that it may be getting discontinued and so it could be worth buying a couple of bottles in while it's cheap!

Lush's Whoosh Shower Jelly

When I went into Lush I didn't really know much about these shower jellys until one of the assistants showed me them and let me have a quick demo of what its like to use, (the lush staff are the nicest people EVER!) But once I tried it I decided to buy the 100g pot for £3.50 which I didn't think was too badly priced. It smells very lemony and smells like a sweet which I can't put a name to, anyway this has a real strong smell but unfortunately when you have used it the smell doesn't linger or anything, it's like you haven't even used the product (this could be a plus for some people for I personally would have like for the smell to have stayed.) I find that my skin does feel quite soft after using it. Another downside is that it is quite tricky to use without wasting any, although I might get better at using it as time goes on. For those who don't quite know how to use, you basically scoop a bit out of the pot and rub it on your body and it lathers up. I often waste this by accidently dropping bits and they go down the drain ): But like I said I think it's a practise takes perfect kind of product!

Would I buy again? Yesh! (:

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum

I bought this foundation about three months ago and I have to say it is amazing, my skin always looks flawless after using it and it looks so natural as well. The bottle says '16 hour radiance boosting', but I think that this foundation is quite light and I definitely don't agree that it lasts for 16 hours because I find that it has worn off by the end of the day, although I suppose it differs depending on how much translucent powder you apply to set it or how much you foundation you apply in the first place. I think that this foundation is really easy to blend and easy to work with, it does also smell as good as everyone says it does! This foundation is a bit more expensive than some high street foundations as I bought this for £10.99, but I think that if you want a good quality light coverage foundation this could be worth a shot!

Would I buy again? Yes.

Soap and Glory's Glad Pits

I bought this as the cheapest item of a 3 for 2 on soap and glory products at boots, and when I first smelled the sprayer bit it smelt just like the signature soap and glory smell which I really like. However when I got home and gave it a spray I thought it smelled truely awful! It smells quite strongly of aloe vera and whatever else the smell is combined with, I thought I would perserve to see if it was a good anti-pespirant and I can't say it's any better than any other normal deodrant I've ever tried. This 150ml bottle cost £4.50 which is a bit expensive compared to other anti-perspirant.

Would I buy again? No No No.

Lush's American Cream Conditioner

I bought this conditioner when I bought the I Love Juicy shampoo and I use them both together. On the label it says 'this strawberry vanilla milkshake conditioner', I would say it definitely did not smell of strawberries at all to be honest, you can smell the vanilla but I find it has quite an unusual smell which I did not particularly like at first but I have found after using it a few times that it is quite nice. It does make my hair feel soft and it still feels soft days after, I find the smell lingers on my hair for a while after as well (which I quite like).  This 100g bottle cost £4.45 which again for me personally is rather expensive for a conditioner when you can buy bigger bottles and nicer smeller ones for a much cheaper price.

Would I buy again? Yes, but I won't be rushing out to buy it when it runs out. I'll use another one instead for a while.

Lush's I Love Juicy Shampoo

My hair can get quite greasy, so I have to wash it once every other day and I saw this on the internet and it says on the bottle 'to blast through grease and make oily hair bouncy and clean once more'. I saw the good reviews and decided to try it out. I bought the 100g bottle at £4.95 which I personally find quite expensive given the size of the bottle but it definitely works! I managed to go for an astonishing three days without getting greasy hair and even though the bottle is small it lathers up quite well so I don't use up a lot of the product, I think the bottle will last longer than I expected it to.

Would I buy again? Yes, but I might try and find a cheaper alternative first.

Topshop's Hidden Treasure Nail Varnish

I love nail varnishes, I have to constantly restrain myself from spending my money recklessly on them. I bought this nail varnish a month ago as an impulse buy, and I'm so glad I did buy it! When I first applied them to my nail I was disappointed, I thought that the colour would be the gold/blue/green colour it was in the bottle and it wasn't. It was a shimmery gold. However I soon realised that when you move your hand you can see the different colour, it just depends which light you're in. I bought this for £6 which for me personally is a bit expensive for a nail varnish, but I have found that when I apply two coats of this with no base or top coat it hardly chips! So I find that it is worth the money, you definitley need two coats of this though because one coat on its own is quite sheer.

Would I buy again? Yes definitley!
